Mediterranean house in Mojacar
THE HOUSE
The main living area includes a sitting area with a TV and a wood burning stove,
a dining table for eight people in front of a fireplace and a small library space with books in several languages.
There is an open plan kitchen which has all the facilities you need. As you can see in the pictures
there is a bar attached to the kitchen. This area leads to a terrace and a patio.
THE GARDEN
In front of the house there is a long terrace with benches along the wall and a long table for dining outside.
The views from the terrace are to the garden and the pool.
The silence invites one to sit and enjoy the outdoors as much as you can.
There is a patio in the other side that leads to two bedrooms and the main sitting area. T
here is a long bench as well that runs along the whole patio.
THE BEACH
La Chumbera Blanca is close to the most beautiful beaches in the area, the nearest being El Sombrerico and Macenas.
Both beaches are five minutes drive from the house, with pristine water,
unspoiled nature and Macenas has a great chiringuito ( beach bar ) with excellent seafood.
The Parque Natural de Cabo de Gata is just 10km from the house. This amazing park runs 60km along the coast, with fantastic beaches as well as beautiful picturesque villages. A visit to the Park is highly recommended.
For a different perspective, Mojácar beach has all the amenities of an urbanized beach,
with showers and beach restaurants all along the coast.
MOJACAR OLD TOWN
Mojacar´s fame and its mysterious charm and beauty has been well know since the early sixties when
Spain was still a paradise for adventurers. A large community of bohemians and artists settled back then
in the old town and created the most creative and innovative ambience.
Nowadays, still preserving the charm of its narrow streets with its amazing views to the coast or to the Sierra, Mojácar is a more quieter place than it used to be. There are still hundreds of restaurants and exotic shops all over.
